What is Og Money KW?

Og Money KW is the Kuwait’s first digital payments services. It offers one-stop shop for all your bill payments and top-ups with a smart and easy payment experience. In addition to, online gaming vouchers, gift cards and international mobile operators recharge for more than 50 countries worldwide. Established in 2014 by One Global, Kuwait and has the License as Payment Service Provider by the Central Bank of Bahrain.

How do I create an account in Og Money KW?

Please follow the below mentioned steps to create your Og Money account:

  1. Install Og Money KW App and open it.
  2. Click on “Og Wallet” icon in the “Home” page or on “Get Started” button on the side menu at the top of the page.
  3. Click on “Register” button at the bottom of the “Login” screen.
  4. Enter your Mobile Number, Email Address and a Password.
  5. Click on ‘Next’ button. You will get an OTP on the mobile number that you entered. Once you enter the OTP and tap on ‘Activate’, your account will be created.
Is creating an account in Og Money KW “free”?

It’s absolutely free! You don’t need to spend a penny to become an Og Money KW Customer. Also, there are no extra charges for adding money to the wallet, wallet to wallet money transfers or paying to Og merchants.

Why does Og Money KW ask to verify mobile number?

Yes, we send you an OTP (One Time Passcode) on your mobile number, the one you shared with us while registering. If you do not receive an OTP within 60 seconds, click on the “Resend OTP” button to get a new OTP.

I'm not an Og Money KW customer. Still, can I use Og Money KW?

Yes, you can use Og Money KW even without having an account. But to experience Og Money benefits, we recommend you to register for new Account.

What is KYC? Does it require to use Og Money KW?

KYC stands for “Know Your Customer”. It is a process followed by a financial institutions or entities to collect the details of their clients to establish Client Identity. This happens to prevent financial frauds like money laundering, identities theft and illegal transactions.

What is the Minimum KYC and its Benefits & Limits?

The Minimum KYC can be achieved by registering using minimum information like Mobile Number & Email Address.

The Benefits and Limits are as follows:

  • You can Add Money up to 50 KD in a month and as up to 600 KD per year.
  • Your wallet balance cannot exceed 50 KD in a month, at any given point of a time.
  • You can spend up to 50 KD per month.
  • You can pay bills, recharge your mobile and buy gift cards.
  • If your usage is more than 50 KD, you can upgrade to the Full KYC at any time.
What is the Full KYC and its Benefits & Limits?

A Full KYC requires to submit your full information as Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Nationality, Address & Upload valid Civil ID document as an identity proof. Your information will be verified online. Once verified successfully, to complete Full KYC, please visit us at One Global Office for In-Person Verification along with your original uploaded KYC documents.

How do I complete my Full KYC?
  1. Install Og Money KW App and open it.
  2. Click on the side menu from the “Home” page or Profile icon at the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Click on ‘Complete Full KYC’ button, then click on “Edit KYC” button or “Submit now” link.
  4. Fill all the “KYC Details” fields with correct information and save it.
  5. Your KYC Information will be verified online.
  6. To complete Full KYC, please visit us at One Global Office for In-Person Verification along with your original uploaded KYC documents.
Is my KYC details safe?

KYC process is completely safe and is carried out by authorized representatives who have undergone through background verification. All details are collected via Og Money KW application and are transmitted securely to our servers.

What is Og Wallet?

Og Wallet is made easy to send and receive money using only the mobile number. Moreover, you can pay bills, recharge, and save your Debit/Credit Card details, to experience cashless world.

To use Og Wallet, you have to create an account in Og Money KW.

Can I add money in Og Wallet and Where can I use it?

Yes! You can easily add money to your Og Wallet and use it to buy from different services on Og Money KW.

Is there a limit on the amount of funds I can add to Og Wallet?

Yes! limits are defined based on your KYC Level.

How can I know my Og Wallet Balance?
  1. Install Og Money KW App and open it.
  2. Login to “Og Wallet”. You will see the “Balance” label and beside it the amount of it.
  3. Alternatively, you can use Siri command on IOS. In order to use it, you need to set up Siri phrase for “Og Wallet Balance” in Og Money KW App.
Can I use Credit Card to add money to Og Wallet?

No! You can use only your KNET (Debit Card) to add money to your Og Wallet.

Can I transfer money from my Og Wallet to different Og Wallet?

Yes, you can transfer money from your Og Wallet to different Og Wallet without any charge.

To transfer the money, please follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Install Og Money KW App and open it.
  2. Login to Og Wallet.
  3. Click on “Transfer” icon.
  4. Enter the Mobile Number of the person whom you want to send money. You can also pick the mobile number from contacts saved on your device OR by scanning the QR of the person using “Scan QR Code”.
  5. Enter Amount you want to transfer and click on “Proceed” button.
  6. If you have sufficient balance in your Og Wallet, money will be successfully sent to the entered “Recipient Mobile Number” .
  7. If you do not have sufficient balance, you will get an error message and you can add money from “Add Money” page.
  8. The “Recipient Mobile Number” will receive an Email and Push notification (if he/she have an Og Money KW App) to inform him/her about the money that you transferred to.
Can I transfer money from Og Wallet to my Bank Account?

No, we cannot transfer money from Og Wallet to your Bank Account.

Why Credit Card payment option is not available in few services?

Credit Card as a payment option is available on most services. Usually a Service Provider decides what payment channels they want to make available for customers. In case a Service Provider decides to disable the Credit Card payment channel, we disable it for that service.

Who do I contact if transaction fails, even after deducting money from Bank Account?

In case you perform any transaction and the money is deducted  from your Bank Account but the Service is Failed, you can call us at our Customer Care +965 22021921 or email us at customer.care@oneglobal.com. Also, you can contact us directly from App under “Contact Us”.

How will I get to know whether my transaction has been successful?

Once you make a payment; you will receive an App Notification informing you that your transaction is performed successfully, and an immediate display for the Transaction Status on “Transaction Receipt” which will be “Payment Status = Captured” and “Service Status = Success”. For some services, you will get from the Operator / Service Provider a confirmation SMS / Email. However, In case of Bill Payment or other payments, there may be some delay in few cases due to connectivity issues.

Where can I see the history for all transactions?

To see the history for all transactions, open your Og Money KW. Click on the side menu / Profile icon on top left and select “Transactions” option. You can see all your transactions here.

What is “My Payments” in Og Money KW?

“My Payments” is used to maintain pending payments as a list of “Reminders” and “Orders”. Here you can see all your due payments at one place.

What is “Reminders” in Og Money KW? How can I “Set Reminder” for my favorable transaction?

We are here to remind you about all your Pending Telecom Bills and Recharges.

With our latest ‘Reminders’ feature, you will not miss any of your due payment ever again! You can setup a reminder only through “Transaction Receipt” page either after performing success transaction or from “Transactions” page by clicking on “View” button for any Telecom Transaction.

Under the “Receipt”, click on “Set Reminder” button and choose the reminder period as “Weekly / Monthly”.

What is “Quick Pay” in Og Money KW and how do I add my services in Quick Pay?

At Og Money KW our motto is to make things easier and faster for you. So, we are ready with a feature which will save your time. With a Quick Pay feature, you can pay for multiple services in one transaction at the same time.

To add services in Quick Pay list: Go to “Home Page”, then Click on “Quick Pay” icon and add your listed services in your quick pay account. Also, you can add it from “Add to Quick Pay” button at the “Transaction Receipt”.

What is “Og Deals”?

With Og Deals, you don’t have to wait for a seasonal discount to do your shopping.

There are numerous deals available on various products, grab them to maximize your savings during your shopping.

If I purchase a product from Og Deals, where can I track my order?

You can track your order within Og Money KW App.

To know the status of your Deal Order: Go to “Transactions” page and click on “View” button for the order that you want to track its status. There, you can see the Completed / Current / Remaining Statuses.

What is “Pay Me” feature in Og Money KW?

Don’t have a Website or Mobile App? Need to collect money from your Friends / Customers online? Use “Pay Me” feature in Og Money KW to get paid over SMS or Email.

Where can I find “Pay Me” service in Og Money KW?

To use “Pay Me” Service:

  1. Login to Og Wallet.
  2. Click on “Og Wallet” at Home page.
  3. Click on “Pay Me” icon.
I want to start accepting payments using Og Money KW, where can I start?

To start accepting payments using the Og Money KW:

  1. Register with Og Money KW.
  2. After successful registration, simply share your “Pay Me” link with your friends / customers to start accepting payments in your Og Money KW Wallet.
  3. Also, you can send a “Pay Me” link using SMS to your friend / customer using his/her Mobile Number and entering the other information, even if they don’t have an Account on Og Money KW.
Is there a limit in receiving payments on Og Money KW?

Yes, as per your KYC level, the allowed limits are defined.

Do I have to go through a verification process to accept payments from my friend / customer?

Yes, the “Mobile Number Verification” that was performed during registration is enough for us to ensure the authenticity.

I received a “Pay Me” link from Og Money KW. What’s next?

All you have to do is to open the link, pay it and the money will be instantly credited to the Sender Wallet Account in Og Money KW.

How do I use a Coupon Code?

Coupon Code is notified on Social Media / App when it is available. You can get discounts using this Coupon Code. Just enter the code in the “Coupon Code” box on our “Payment Summary” page and press “Apply” button to benefit from the discount on this transaction.

What if my mobile phone gets lost / stolen?

Don’t worry! No one will be able to access your Og Money KW Account without entering the password. That’s why we recommend you to “DO NOT STORE YOUR OG MONEY KW PASSWORD ANYWHERE ON YOUR PHONE”. However, for security reasons, if your phone is lost / stolen, inform us immediately by emailing us at customer.care@oneglobal.com or call our Customer Care at +965 22021921, in order to block your account for further safeguard.
